I'm a bit ashamed of myself. I suppose that requires some explanation, doesn't it?
I've caved. I've never thought much of the idea of buying perfume online when you've never smelled it before, because, I mean, come on, people, just because something is described as "a light floral scent with slight citrus undertones" doesn't mean it actually smells ( Read more... )

Well, I have no idea what "notes" I like, or don't like. Like I said, Chesh. doesn't exactly sound terribly appealing to me, but it's the Cheshire Cat so I HAVE to try it. And if I don't end up a fan of the other three, I'll send them your way.
I guess I could say that I prefer lighter perfumes. Remember the Calgon Ocean scent? I loved that one, and I wear Happy Heart all the time...Tommy Girl worked well for me, too. On the other hand, what seems to be everybody's favorite at Bath and Body Works, Cucumber Melon, smells...gross...on me. Not sure how else to describe it. Juniper Breeze works for a little while, then it starts to smell like Gak. (remember Gak?) Any suggestions you may have, let me know. I'm going to start working on a list in earnest of what I'd like to try, but first I'd like to get an idea of what actually works on me and what doesn't. I can't actually pick out individual "notes" from perfumes; my sense of smell isn't that good...though I CAN identify who's crapped themselves at work from 30 feet away. But that's
