You know this is the only post I've read which has made me feel slightly less...resentful? Worried? Concerned? Idk. I thought I was out of fandom, I was so ready to just...not care about their latest stuff and then D-Motion came out and I adored it, and then I read about KT-TUN's Asia tour and suddenly I'm back into fandom? It doesn't help either that I feel so weird when I think about Jin. On the one hand yeah ok, it's his dream to become the next Justin Timberlake or something, but on the other hand the timing sort of makes me blankface? Like could he not have waited a few more months to go...I don't know. I guess we shall see how well he does in the US!

Hmm, maybe it's strange, but I'm not worried at all. If something else happens to justify that, then ok, but right now I'm really fascinated to see how this plays out. I think the company knows from past experience that KAT-TUN will sell out their shows regardless of whether Jin is there or not, so they took this chance, and anyway, it makes for really good press (good being subjective, of course, but I mean that it gets them ink/attention which means interest. I'm not referring to the loads of people bashing Jin or gnashing their teeth) and raises their profile - both KAT-TUN's and Jin's. Really, I think it's a win/win; the number of fans who might be upset by this isn't enough to justify not doing it.

The timing sucks, no doubt about it, but I truly can't imagine any of them - and I do mean any of them, not just Jin or the jimusho - I really do mean KAT-TUN as a group - walking away from this opportunity, no matter how tricky it might be.

Like could he not have waited a few more months to go...

I really, truly don't think Jin ( ... )
