It has come to my attention that, since I googled the heck out of the name Trance before using it for my fictional band three years ago, a whole genre called trance music has become popular. Dammit. Now I need another band name

I don't really have a suggestion, but after seeing a presentation at LLNL from someone who worked in that department, ICE just reminds me of Immigration Customs Enforcement.

Yeah, it sort of has that connotation for me too. It's really difficult to find a name that doesn't remind someone of something other than the intended idea. :/

I don't think "trance" is so huge that you can't use it for a band name.
