Well, since I am one of the few developers here at WotC who is turning 4E into a digital game experience, yes, I am very thankful that it's streamlined so nicely. ;D As for character customization, this edition is like every other - the details take time to come out and unlike previous versions all of the expansions will be well-tested and balanced before going out to the public. More races, classes, feats, spells, powers et al are being added every month. =)

Been feeling similar myself.. allergies from hell, making the head feel very stuffed up. it has to be something in atmosphere. Hope you feel better.

I suddenly got allergies outta no where on sunday, my eyes were blood red and people thought I popped a blood vessel and I was sneezing like mad, I swear I think I did 3-4 in a row
