New goal.

It's time to buckle down for Spanish. My goal for the semester is to write a paragraph each day (oh, weep) in Spanish. Since this is where I post things (ha!), it'll be here. (And wherever I feel like x-posting.) Feel free to join me, mock me, attempt translations or completely ignore my posts. It should be interesting, to say the least.

Simon! I feel my Spanish improving after only a week teaching a bunch of ESL kids. Extra (imaginary) credit for you if you can supply some synonyms for "shy." They were not saying "timido" but of course couldn't write it down for me, either.

Otras palabras para "shy" son: vergonzoso (bashful); asustadizo (easily frightened); cauteloso, prudente, recadado (cautious, wary).

I don't think I could write a novel in Spanish. Just like menopause, I get no entertainment from Spanish. How 'bout you?
