why do I always feel like I should post when I'm too tired to think of what to write?
so... I got a PS3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 now...
I don't really like the way the PS3 works for downloading demos and things like that compared to the 360. you have to download and install them... and you have to hunt for stuff... the 360 presents you with stuff to do and various new things on XBL as soon as it loads up ( Read more... ) -
technology hates me, cont'd
now my 360 is borked... at first it was an intermittent E 79 error with freezing when it didn't say E 79... this was bad because it's not covered for free... not wanting to pay $150 for what could have been just dust clogging the fans, I futzed around with it some and now it's the (not so) dreaded Red Ring Of Death... which is covered... so they're ( Read more... ) -

so my amp is acting up again... seems like more than usual this time though... I'm gonna have to take it into a service center eventually, and it's most likely gonna cost me over $500 if the message board thread I read of a guy having a similar problem is any indication... more Busch Gardens...
so, since my last 'real' entry, we've gone back to Busch Gardens a few times, most recently today, which was the least stressful trip(since my brother's kids went home on the 4th)... we all got "All Day Dining Deal" wristbands this time, $30 and you can eat as often as you like all day (with some restrictions, of course) so we stayed at the park ( Read more... ) -

we decided it was a good day to take my nephews to Busch Gardens, as it had been raining earlier in the day and it wasn't 95+ degrees out... so, we get there, and it's kind of raining lightly on and off, enough for the rides to stop going for 20 minutes at a time and then start going again, the kids rode a couple of things and we walked around and ( Read more... ) -

monday I had my wisdom teeth removed, I've felt kind of out of it since then what with my pain meds making me drowsy and all... I still can't open my mouth all the way which makes eating most things kind of difficult, and now my stitches are annoying me ( Read more... )
