did anyone else of great historical significance die at 33 besides jesus/yoshua/christmeister?

depends what you mean by "great historical significance", i suppose. John Belushi died at 33, as did Karen Carpenter, Sam Cooke, and Bon Scott. of course, those are simply media personalities.

i'm interested to find a different reference, by the way, which gives Alexander's mortal day as June 10. i love historical records, so imprecise. :)
