if you read this again, especially in concert with the previous article (of which this was an extension), you'll note that i am considering the benefits and drawbacks of the system, and noting that it is certainly a better choice than some other systems. that is a far cry from saying that it doesn't work, i think.... ;)

It seemed to work in Japan until western influences came in, and it also seemed to work quite well in the UK (United Kingdom)....
