So I just took apart one of my laptops, soldiered the USB port back together then completely rebuilt it. I love laptops that only take 5 screws to get back together.

On a side note... I have a pile of like 35 screws on my desk and I don't remember what they go to....

yup... a GI Joe :) it works better then a parallel port :)
