Katniss is not the smartest character in this book. She is not the bravest, nor the kindest, the most cunning or the most talented. She is not the strongest. Good review. I liked this book, also, and appreciate your analysis of why you liked it.

I felt the same way about wanting more information about the world, but I realize that we were generally restricted to information that Katniss had - and I don't think she knew those things. Which I respect.

When you read the other books, I will be interested to hear your thoughts. I read all three.
