getting a new passport is a pivotal event. i love looking at all the blank stamp pages waiting to be filled with travels. mine is all battered...been through the wringer a few times, but always pulled through.

i reiterate, when, my dear, do you plan to be sleeping? three tremendously difficult labs and EC-SAR and tours to top it all off? well, at least make sure you tell your tourists lots of stories...they like that. and give them a balanced view. for all that admissions might want you to, you shouldn't go blowing sunshine up thier butts or they'll be suspicious.

lol, yeah i'm banking on the fact that i can be a good tour guide just because i've done so much different stuff here. lol, i'm not sure i want admissions though, other than giving tours that is. haha, maybe they'll just pay me more :)
i had to correct the guide i shadowed today. he told lies about ecsar. i think i will bring it up when we have our first meeting with all of the ambassadors, well not bring up his lies, specifically, but just tell them how it is.
the labs aren't too hard yet. the classes themselves are time consuming, but the labs are not bad. especially physics, because we don't have to write things up, which is really exciting :)
it's going to be a tough year (in place of analytical chem next semester i'm taking chem & phys oceanography) but i think it'll be good for story telling in the future :)

woah woah woah

CPO is a class most people leave until their senior year! why don't you take a nice easy humanities perspective or something? don't go burning out on me!

as for the EC-SAR lies, make sure they tell it like it is! we've had that problem for a couple years now. it's up to you to fix it!
