I wrote and asked London Metropolitan Uni if I could have my money back for my train tickets [some of you may remember that they re-scheduled my interview, but I went to London anyway], and today I got a cheque for the full cost of the tickets! Hot Fuzz + Pegg + NEW JOB = SUPER FUN SPECTACULAR!!!
Last night my sister and I went to the Odeon somewhere between Leeds and Bradford to see Hot Fuzz. So I went to London this weekend, and it was great fun. Kris's party on Friday was excellent, I had 3 drinks and was wasted, and had an asthma attack. FUN. We played Zombies!!! on Saturday night, and it's the best board game ever. And I was in first class on the train on the way home. Excellent. All in all, a fabulous weekend ( Read more... ) -

My friend Kris turns 19 next Friday. She's having a party in London, which I feel obliged to attend, mostly because I am staying at the house that the party is being held at for the weekend. changes changing back and forth again
So, yeah. I'm slightly annoyed with London Metropolitan University. After I've spent £50 or so on train tickets and accomodation, they've changed the date of my PGCE interview. It's now in February. I've decided that I'll still go to London since I can't get refunds on my train tickets (they're advance ones) and I can't afford to throw away £50 ( Read more... ) -

I got dropped from my temporary job at Asda, with one day to go. Which is rubbish because I've lost a whole day's wages now and I really need the money at the moment.
Looks like my trip to London next month is going to be done on the smallest and tightest budget imaginable. -
