GALE CAN BURN A WOMAN DOWN

Feb 26, 2010 00:04

Last weekend it was finally my turn to take in Gale's last two performances in Orpheus Descending. I had been anxious because of the Pittsburgh weather this month, our snowiest on record, and worried that I wouldn't be able to get to L.A. Had I planned to go two weekends ago, I never would have made it because of our biggest storm and being ( Read more... )

Hey you
Thanks so much for this wonderful report...really enjoyed reading it.
The pic of you and Gale is lovely!
I remember you giving him a bottle after SLS too.
Glad you enjoyed the play and met lots of other interesting people as well as Gale, and Yara(from most reports I have read) seems to be a lovely lady-so happy for him.
be well
later x

Hi Sandra,

Thanks for the nice comments. I really wish Gale had removed his cap. The first pictures we saw of him he was hatless and smiling. Toward the end he was always wearing some sort of hat with the same expression but, hey, I'm not complaining. I now have pictures with all the main and some secondary cast members. This was my goal to get one with the elusive Mr. Harold and I succeeded.

As much as I hate to admit it, Yara was very pretty in person and very sweet and I am happy that he seems happy.

My goal was to meet him and I did(never really thought I would)...would have liked a pic with him of course, but maybe one day, eh?

It was a great time that I will remember for a long, long time. I really enjoy people watching and talking to the other cast members and anyone who looks familiar to me for that matter. I'm a celeb hound, I guess.

Thanks. I tried to remember as many interesting details of Gale's performance as I could but I forgot that he gave Lady a neck and back massage that he learned from a chiropractor he once knew.

Oh yeah, about that..... How did you find their chemistry together? I've read mixed reviews from the professional critics, some found their chemistry the best part of the play, some found it a bit restrained. Also not many fans talk about him and Lady too much. I'd love to know what you thought of how his interaction was with her. And that back and neck rub...... sounds hot. ;)

BTW, I adore Denise. Have for a long time. Being the lifetime Trekkie that I am. :D

I thought they had a certain amount of chemistry. Not like he had with Randy mind you but he has a way of seeming electric with most of his co-stars and not just the ones he is romantically linked to. I believed they could love each other.

I was a Star Trek fan back in the day but never watched The Next Generation so Denise was new to me. I found her warm and lovely and quite pretty after she shed Lady's persona though she looked wonderful in the final scene in a beautiful maroon dress. When I got home I found her in the last Southland episode playing the wife of one of the cops which is the same role that Yara played as the wife of the Hispanic cop. She also included Prison Break, Bones, Dexter and Mad Men in her credits. I watch all these shows and never noticed her so her roles must have been a minor ones but I will look for her now.

Thanks. I love the atmosphere of the theatre and being able to chat with the cast when the play is over. They are always so appreciative of being told something about their performance that touched you.
