Why do electrical lines run between telephone poles. Why aren't they called power poles. It is these things that I pondered today while eating lunch.

Hmmm.... perhaps you need to start eating lunch with friends :) Besides if they called them power poles people wouldn't be so tempted to climb them and electrocute themselves. They're really just doing the public a service by eliminating a minute percentage of the idiots on this earth.
