ok. so. you see, Popeye ate spinach for his strength..his muscles. he would beat up the robust guy with the beard sometimes in his own defense, sometime's in his lady's. but, either way, Olive Oyl would always swooooon and go,"Ohhhhh, Popeye!!" so, then everything would be gravy for the sailor in the navy and he would go off singing,"I'm Popeye the Sailor Man! Toot Toot!!" :-)
