Last night I went out and explored some of the local culture on my own (nothing exciting yet, but details may be forthcoming in the future). Lots of mixed feelings at the moment. To begin with, the weather the past two days has been fantastic, gorgeous sunshine and mild. So starting to explore the city has been a lot of fun. Today was a lot of fun. Absolutely gorgeous sunshine, and very mild weather if a little breezy. It doesn't seem like there's much temperature variation- generally it's been a lot warmer than DC, hovering around 50 in the daytime even when it's overcast.
