Zelda lumbered down to the living room a good half hour before Daddy was to arrive just to make sure she was situated on the couch in a position that would not make her back ache. He had called earlier and she had been surprised, but happy.

Yes he did, and House let himself in. "Hi, Zelda." He smiled at her, walking over to the couch.

"Hi, Daddy," she said softly, squeezing his hand. "Who is our little visitor?" she asked, arching a brow.

"Eric didn't tell you, either?" House asked, unsurprised. "This is Gabriel, the younger of your two new brothers."
