I must say, I am amazed at the quality of Amazon.ca's service. I used to use Chapters for my books because I wanted to support a Canadian company, but I've switched to Amazon for political reasons. I've recently made a couple of orders, mostly French learning materials and have been astounded by the delivery time

I wouldn't look too deep into the political ties of Amazon if you want to keep buying books.

By all means, expand on your innuendo. I am not aware of the company doing anything more objectionable than the usual corporate stuff. Certainly not setting up a foundation to encourage and support the recruitment of foreigners to bear arms in a conflict that does not need any more armed zealots.
