Rockin' good unconventional curry

This looks like a good recipe. I should make an annual practice of celebrating Crowley's Greater Feast with a curry meal.

One trick I learned in Israel is to actually start boiling the water for the rice in a separate pot, while sauteeing the rice with its spices (in this case, the turmeric) & a bit of olive oil in a saucepan. I imagine this can also be done with toasting the rice dry, so that the water hitting the pan is already hot.

We had weird weather in NY for "Crowleymas", hardly anyone showed up for the announced gathering.
