Umm... I like Summer Glau as much as the next Firefly fan, but she shows a little too much humanity to play a convincing robot. Granted, I only saw the preview you posted and a brief glimpse of the show itself last night, so I don't know if she's supposed to be some kind of new, more human-like Terminator but I honestly think that Schwarzenegger is more of a natural when it comes to being cold, unfeeling and wooden. That isn't really saying anything bad about Summer, now that I think of it....

Also, how is a statuesque Vulcan butt a bad photo op?!

I think they allude to her being a newer model and she eats a tortilla chip, but after that the show acts all mysterious and won't tell you anything about it. Hopefully the character won't become all "Hi, I'm human in every possible way, even though I am a robot" and so on.

The only reason it is a bad photo op: there is more statue to be photographed, but you would probably need to climb over the railing and lean back to take the picture. Best-case scenario, someone calls the cops to put you back on solid earth. (That or, you know, a boring picture from afar)

I will refrain from the obvious pun regarding robots eating chips.
I have a feeling the series will be another of those things that I skip out on and then download later and either lavish praise upon or vilify for weeks.
