Two points of interest:

1.  A job interview, finally.  I have an opportunity to install satellite dishes for people, should I get the job.  Strangely enough, I like the idea of this kind of work the more I think about it.  Assembling satellites, some outdoor work, driving around in a company vehicle.  The only disadvantage is that the cement ( Read more... )

It is also pointless scientifically to attempt giving a firm number to the Tootsie Pop question. The results will always be skewed by the pH level of the licker's saliva, the size of their tongue and variations in the size of the candy layer(s) from lollipop to lollipop. Eastern and Western thinking can finally agree on something!

I shelf books at Borders late at night. They were surprised by my doing so at first, but eventually they decided they might as well pay me for doing it, so I guess that's technically my job.

And wristwatches? I choose to discard the cell phone as often as possible instead. I find my chronometers to be most reliable when they're strapped to my arm and have a longer battery life.

Yes, well met... I had to choose between East and West for consistency, and chose East, so it is good to have the other side of the ball.

Shelving books... I would do that for a job. Wait, didn't I did do that... or something? Problem is, no one is paying for that in Birmingham. Maybe once I have a job I'll show up late somewhere and do it anyway, it sounds like the thing to do.

I wanted to discard the cell phone in the early years but ever since I started preparing for Ultimate Driving Challenge, I have to be ready to answer random trivia questions at any time, in any place.
