I;ve always thought that the relationship is what defines itself, not the label people stick on it. If you're with someone and only them for a prolonged period of time and you act like boyfriend/girlfriend then you are. I steer clear of people who who think that a label is somehow going to limit them, though. If you're with somebody, admit it.
