Starting with the good part: I've baked another 4 batches of biscuits; now I'm up to 11 sorts. Two of them are decorated already, the third one doesn't need any decoration (it has mini-marshmallows that look very funny when molten inside the cookies) and the fourth one will be easy to decorate, so I can do it in the morning and box them by the ( Read more... )

Yeah, it is bloody annoying! It reminds me of poor ithilwen and her never-ending battle with the leaking roof of her house... I don't think she ever got it under control, which makes me rather pessimistic about the balcony.

Actually, it's rather my feet and my back that suffered greatly. But yeah, I'll have to invest into a chopper... a good one.

And apparently am not done struggling with it yet. In a way it's almost fortunate that we can't go on holidays anymore; no need to worry what's happening to the flat in our absence.

It's really frustrating when a tool you have relied on for years, breaks. My can opener stopped working and I have tried three different replacements, with no luck.
