airport DS?

i'm in the birmingham airport right now posting from my DS! w00t! how cool is that? there is a cute girl sitting at gate c3 to denver. I've always wanted to meet a random person in the airport... jk thats kinda wierd. the other passengers are all ready fitting the standard airplane movie profiles. ScArY!! see ya'll when i get back peace

I too frequently have the desire to make contact with attractive strangers in airports. It's the controlled environment, forced physical proximity, boredom, sense of false intimacy, clearly defined temporal constraints, and anonymity.

In fact if the internet were in real life, and it charged for content, and it had an actual purpose, it would probably be an airport.

Plus there's something about headphones and a book that give one a false sense of cool. My theory is that its because you're immersed in things you already think are cool and you feel like you radiate that coolness. Course that could just be me.
