The vendor has rolled over and kicked their legs in the air; they are going to carry out all of the essential work to the house, provide documented guaruntees on the work and then pay for half of the re-survey costs in order to satisfy our paranoia.

Ok, cute chinnie photos now on Flickr - lousy photography but still cute. Seriously, if anyone (chocoweebie!) can suggest how to photograph a very fast moving mammal in low light, when you can't use a flash (see photo one for reason why) I'd love to know! I'd love a really great portrait shot of the boys.

Jenna popped round this evening and we have had a entertainging night of nattering and chinchilla watching (first time Jenna had seen them out playing). She has a very bizarre effect on the chins - they seemed remarkably calm and sedate, to the point where they sat and posed for photos which is very rare. Over the past few months I have noticed that my night vision has got worse and my distance vision has deterioated quite a bit too. Bizarrely it's intermittant - one day I'll be fine and the next I'll have issues reading something ten feet away.

I am just in the process of posting few photos onto Flicky from the weekend. My flickr name is wiserabbit and they should be up in about half an hour.

The house we were looking at needs 5ks worth of structural work.

I feel denied a house warming party. I also feel it that is too long till pancake day. And we need to watch crap films.
