i agree with you to an extent... but how would they know if we were learning what we need to to be successful if they didn't test us?
and most really successful people went to a college that was at least decent. the better the colleges, the better the students *usually* are. you won't see me at harvard EVER because i slack off more than i should, more than i could for that kind of education. how else, besides tests would they know if that student was able to go to that college. space is limited, otherwise we'd all be there.
i agree that the number of tests we need to take is ridiculous, but the test theory itself is logical.
