I loved this little story of yours. It was so sweet! I liked that you added that little interlude between Sarek and Uhura. LOL! It clearly indicated to me that Sarek has a clear understanding of the relationship between Uhura and Spock. He is Spock's father and a parents do know their children very well in most cases. I want to read more stories from you.

Thanks so much! The Sarek thing was really spur of the moment for this. I don't think he knows the intensity of their relationship or what it is defined but I think he has a definite idea. As you said, parents know their kids, heh.

I loved it! And I'm glad someone wrote about what happened after that scene. It may not fit the timeline of the film, but the look he gives her when leaving the bridge, looking so incredibly ashamed of himself - is so bittersweet. I'm happy there's an *after*.
