After my battle with the Watcher, I waited in the shadows until dusk, when I could check on my favourite spots to catch a bite. The alley behind the Bronze, the park, the cemetery... "Wonder what I'm supposed to do now." I questioned myself softly, knowing fully that I was pretty lost and since I knew nothing of the town, wondering deeper into places probably wasn't in my best interest. Shifting my gaze upwards I gazed around again, and noticed a girl standing not too far behind me. ‘Maybe she can help?’
I raised one hand in the air, I felt almost like I was raising my hand for a teacher in a class as I tried signaling for her.
“Um, e-excuse me, miss?”

I smiled sweetly and came closer, enjoying the invitation.
"Yes?"

"I-I, um, th-think I-I'm l-lost." I felt slightly ashamed at admitting this, but I knew it was one of the only ways I was about to get home anytime soon. I let my eyes shift back up to look at her, though my face stayed aimed downwards. The feeling she gave off, strong, confidant, forceful. I was slightly intrigued by this, I wanted to know more. Yet at the same time the nagging knowledge of me needing to get home stuck it out, yelling at me to get directions home.
"C-could y-you gi-give me di-directions to, um, easy street?" It was one of the corniest street names ever, but it just happened to be the street that my father had chosen to settle us down on, in our new home in Sunnydale. A slight shy smile slipped over my lips while I waited hoping she would know the way there.
