Okay, so I like someone nearly 20 years older than me. Why can't I like someone my own age? I mean... Why am I just not attracted to someone my own age? ... According to Claire... "You have more in common with the types of people who have experienced life and are mature like you are." ... Oh come on. Haha. What's your take

I completely agree with her. You've gone through so many emotions that most people never experience--or at least don't experience until much later in life, and in moderation...you've had everything chucked at you all at the same time, and you've been, so to speak, forced to grow up super fast. There's nothing wrong with being attracted to people older than you...it just means you can relate to them better. I know people whose parents are 20 years apart and still happily married.
