People of The Host as portrayed in my mind...
I feel like casting everyone, mainly because I'm seeing all these people who haven't considered the people I like and I think they should see this before they make any final decisions. Haha. Because seriously, these people are amazing. So yeah. Anyway, here it goes.
Melanie
I haven't really passionately decided about anyone for Mel, mainly because I guess I just haven't really seen anyone who I'm like OMG MELANIE IN THE FLESH. Haha. I saw a preview or Wildfire once, I never really watched the show, but when the main girl came up I thought she could work. She's a bit older than what would most likely be considered, but still. Other than that, I don't know. I'm somewhat warming up to Camilla Belle, but I don't know. She looks to glammed up and perfect all the time, and I just never pictured Melanie like that.
Jared
There are quite a few people I can imagine as Jared, like Josh Hartnett and Josh Duhamel; but my favorite so far is Ryan Sypek. He plays Junior on Wildfire. I really didn't mean for that to happen, it just did. And I don't even watch the show. But he seems to fit. If anything, I'm kind of mad that I like two people what are already a couple in another series. It bugs me. But I don't know, I can't get his face out of my brain when I think about Jared.

Matt Dallas. 'Nuff said. If you don't see it, you're crazy. Haha.
Okay, fine. I'll actually explain. When everyone found Wanderer/Melanie at the beginning and she said the name Kyle, I was like.... Oooh! Kyle XY! I wonder..... And then she said he had blue eyes, and I was like LEGASP! And since Ian looks so much like him, he kind of came with the package. But as the story went along, I just couldn't imagine Matt being so vicious, so he morphed into Ian, and then Tom Welling appeared as Kyle. Whuch means....
Kyle
Mhmm. I really think they could pull off being brothers, don't you?

I really didn't see anyone with a face much like how I imagined, but some of the people I found were Logan Lerman, Josh Hutcherson, and Matthew Werkmeister. Pretty much all of them morphed together. :]
Jeb
Willie Nelson. With a longer beard, and no freaky braid. Haha. But I could see Sam Elliott also. Or maybe Michael Gambon (somewhat Dumbledore-esque, but not dressed all freaky or with a ponytail in his beard), or Richard Harris if he was still alive.
Maggie
Susan Sarandon or Sigourney Weaver. They have the potential to be very vicious. Haha.
