Mmm baking

It's the perfect time of year for baking. The leaves are changing color, falling off trees, and floating in the wind. The cold is inescapable, but comfort can be found in sweaters, scarves, and warm drinks. The air begins to smell a way I can't describe. But not like cinnamon or pumpkin like many would believe.

They were incredibly tasty! We used this recipe, but decided they'd be better as cupcakes rather than cake:

And i'm so in love with that nail polish. It's called Mean and Green, by MAC. Sometimes it looks purple, then green, then gold. So shiny!

I make sure I have really long nails when I'm about to grate something. Then when the the inevitable incident happens, I grate my nails instead of my fingers. Which is still sad, but not as ouchy.

But at least the cupcakes look delicious!

My friend's grater is so much sharper than my own. I wasn't prepared for that.
