Grigg swung the door open, a mildly crazed look on his face that melted into a smile when he saw it was Eden. He had been in the middle of sketching out plans and jotting down ideas that didn't make much sense and would probably go nowhere when he had dropped his pen and it had rolled under the bed.

The effort to retrieve it had ended up causing more chaos than he had intended. Making an effort to hide what was behind him, he stepped towards the hallway.

Eden's smile widened when he stepped out and she had to curb the faint urge to kiss him then and there. "Hi," she said. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything. I just... hoped you might like a little company." More accurately, she'd hoped for his, leaning still against the wall and smiling up at him, biting her lip. She was trying not to crowd Gideon these days and anyway, she liked being around him.

"Oh no, you're not." Grigg shook his head, smiling a bit wider as he stepped back to both let her in and show her what he had been hiding.

Scratching the back of his head, he leaned against the wall and gestured towards the mess. "I lost my pen."

Stepping past him, Eden turned in a slow circled to get a good look at the chaos, a laugh bubbling out of her. She shook her head and looked back to him with a smile.

"I can see how you might've," she teased. "Grigg, it looks like you lost your pen because a tornado hit."
