Smallville thoughts

Without any major spoilers: Okay, Zod's comeuppance was pretty stupid, but it actually made sense for him. After all, his primary activity is lying and whispering; he was bound to slip up sooner or later.  I did get a chuckle out of it.

I actually liked it, although I can't explain why without spoilers. ;-) I also liked how Clark's lying came back to bite him, and how Lois got to be competent. It was a pretty decent season finale, and I'd have been happy to have it as the series finale, even if Superman fans would have been majorly ticked. I did not, however, like what happened to Mercy. The constant violence against her this season really bothered me. Lex was never that abused.

The whole face-burning thing with Tess/Mercy did shock me a little.

SPOILER:

By the way, who do you think was knitting outside her room? Tom thinks it was Lex, but I'm not sure. Also, the non-Kryptonians who attacked Green Arrow: I'm guessing they're from Apokalips.

Lex was my first guess as well. It did look like a man dressed as a woman. He'd better be nice to Tess; she needs someone to be kind to her for a change.

I have no idea who attacked Green Arrow, but I love the way that scene was played. "I love you, Chloe." "I love you, Oliver." "My god, they're not Kandorians! Aiieee!"
