Come on, it's the tale of angsty teen Bruce Wayne trying to reconcile his growing need for vengeance...and graduate high school. How has this not been done yet?

DC has some weird "no touchy" thing going on with Batman's early years. . . As I understand it, those who work with the Batman property essentially think that a TV presence would somehow undermine the movies.

I also understand that this is why Clark has never met Bruce on Smallville. . . talk about a ratings bonanza!

I seem to recall a very early Smallville where Wayne Industries was mentioned. I think they brought in Oliver Queen to take over the part the writers originally intended for Batman.
