So tonight I braved two different remakes back to back and I survived. The best thing about this was that I didn't have to go through the whole downloading hassle.

Basically I agree with everything you've said about Skins. I really do think Stanley had more charisma than Tony, which is all kinds of wrong. I mean, I don't think that guy would really have needed help getting laid at all? He was cute and not particularly awkward.

I'm going to keep watching, mostly out of masochism and curiosity. I want to see if it gets better once it starts doing it's own thing. Like Gossip Girl did.

Stanley feeling more secure was so offputting to me I didn't know how to deal. Tony's voice doesn't help. I want to see Tea's episode and Caddie (is that how her name goes?) because she came across so much better in motion to me. Her and Stanley had some of my favorite scenes. Then Chris too was a high point.

The odd thing is that in the promos the cast are made to look better and Tea and the guy playing Tony had chemistry and stuff. I really feel like Tea seems more charismatic than Tony right now and if the story was centered more around her and didn't try to copy the pilot shot for shot, I'd be more positive about it.

i just can't make myself watch SKINS. I just can't do it. I've thought about it and there's no way.

I'm more interested in Being Human and I'll probably HULU it before bed tonight since you seemed to like it and you always know what's best.

Are you just not a fan of Skins in general or you can't possibly stomach a remake?

I just checked hulu and Being Human is up, so watch it and tell me what you think please. I actually don't remember the original first episode that well but I liked this premiere enough to follow along.

Truthfully, I am very excited for the original Being Human to come back. I need the man in my icon back on my screen.

I like the original SKINS for the most part..I kind of waver between hating Tony and feeling sorry for him. I just can't stomach a remake.

I think I'm more inclined to seeing the BH remake is because I don't have much experience with the first one.

I'm gonna watch it tonight and shoot you an email.

Who was your fav in the original Skins? At the end, Chris and Jal made me weep and I appreciated Cassie's scenes. The part where Chris was crying in his bed after Jal told him about her abortion made me tear up a bit and the funeral scene at the end (and the stolen body--hilarity!) still fill me with fondness.
