Went to my bank to take out a title loan on my car, just $1000 so I can start towards building some sort of credit.  The bank tells me they can give me a loan of 80% of what my car is worth, so she looked it up and $1000 is no problem apparently.  So she tells me she'll run my application and call me the next day, she calls me and I was rejected ( Read more... )

Dan and I went apartment hunting the other day.  We're getting our tax returns and are looking to get out of his parents basement.  We found a really great deal!  A one bedroom one bathroom for $450.  It's so cute and we both love it.  I'm really hoping we'll get it.  It's perfect for the two of us.  We'll even be able to have a kitten at no extra ( Read more... )
