Goku was not having a good day. He was hungry and tired, and it was all the stupid kappa’s fault.
“I’m hungry,” he complained.
“Shut up, monkey,” growled Gojyo. “We just had breakfast.”
“You did, but I didn’t! You ate all my food, you damn cockroach!”
“It’s your own fault for being so slow!”
“I was slow because you kept me up all night, you pervert!”
BANG!
“If you idiots don’t shut up,” snarled Sanzo, “I’m going to make sure neither of you ever have to eat again.”
“Ah, it’s so peaceful,” Hakkai commented serenely.
They drove on in a silence that lasted all of three minutes.
“What do you mean ‘I kept you up’?” Gojyo asked curiously.
“You were doing perverted things with some woman all night, and it kept me awake,” Goku answered. “Stupid kappa,” he added for good measure.
Gojyo grinned widely. “Aw, did the grown ups keep the baby monkey up past his bedtime?”
“Shut up, pervert!”
Gojyo was definitely not shutting up. “Maybe it’s time Sanzo gave you the talk. Or Hakkai,” he amended after seeing the revolver in front of his face.
Goku scowled. “I don’t need anybody to tell me about that stuff.” Just because he wasn’t a pervert like Gojyo didn’t make him stupid. He’d prove it too! He grabbed Gojyo’s shirt, and smashed their lips together. He pulled away, slightly stunned. That felt… good. He looked at Gojyo’s stupefied expression.
Anything that shut the stupid kappa up was worth trying again.
