It's been a really long time, but darn it I had to come back. Here I thought I was falling out of Pokemon, but it reels me back in with a cute craft idea. DAMN!
OMG Hey! I went away from journal for like a minute after posting this, came back saw my inbox and thought there was no way someone commented that fast. I've missed you hun! ;;
You think? I use to charge that much for my bigger sculptures so I thought I should charge less for these. D:
Ah, seems like it's been so long since I've seen one of your sculptures! What have you been working on lately? :D
There's still a fair amount of detail put into these. I would say it really depends on what you're making, but $10 does seem like a good base price! Aburamechan has the right idea though, you could always drop the price a bit!
It's been so long since I've made a sculpture!! Almost a month. really want to get to sculpting something soon. I still have to make a Blaziken for someone, but it's been difficult trying to get myself motivated to do so! I've been SUPER addicted to Legend of Korra lately, so my life has been seriously nothing but that, lol. XD I've been drawing a lot lately, because Korra has motivated me to get good at drawing people so I can make good fanart for once. I've been thinking about sculpting some Avatar stuff too, so that will probably happen soon!
Lol I can understand trying to motivate yourself to do something. I got this idea to make these almost a month ago, but I had to force myself to finish some other commissions before I started these. It was so painful. D8
Legend of Korra, oh dear, Meg's been showing me some clips of that and I can not say no. I missed you Avatar, I missed you so much. ;; Fanart and sculpting Avatar, I support! Go for it! XD
I am on the $10-15 depending on the detail. $10 to start with, because of the supplies and details! $15 for the jerks who thrive on details like Dialga and so on. I think for the auctions maybe start at $10? :)
Thinking on it I was thinking maybe a range of $8 to $12? Starting Eevee's at $8? Just afraid they're so small I should charge less then my other sculptures. D;
Try to aim for an hourly rate. :D You're doing skilled labor, you deserve good pay just like anyone who works! I think $20 is still pretty reasonable. They are cute!
Really!? Oh dear, I don't know if anyone would be willing to buy my charms for that much. But when you do put it like that I probably will do $10 to $15 depending on detail kind of thing. :D
Do whatever you're comfortable with, of course. But if you find you have to turn away a lot of people because you're always full up on orders, that is a good time to raise prices a little. :D
