A big shakeup

1. Thanks to a complicated series of events, I'll be teaching high school next year. Wow. Never done that before, and I haven't a clue how to teach it! On Tuesday, I'm heading up to the school to meet some new colleagues, observe, and get a feel for it. I was shocked and quite wary when I got the reassignment, but now I'm starting to get excited.

We own a small one so we can get the cat throw up. And congrats on teaching high school next year, I would think they are just bigger and have more hormones and some cars than middle schoolers.
As for the kindle I have the kindle fire, and I love it, but I don't read much on it. I just find it nice to go online at school and I didn't have to pay 500 bucks for an ipad. I do like the games and listening to audio books on it.

I use my kindle for fic, which obviously eliminates the price issue for the most part. There's a good plug in for Chrome here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ipkfnchcgalnafehpglfbommidgmalan that will push any web page to your phone. But I totally hear you on it being terribly awkward to hold in bed.

I've steam cleaned the carpets myself and have used services. I'd totally recomend hiring someone. I've never gotten ripped off, the prices are super reasonable - they have never tacked on extra pricing, even when i asked them if they could also spot clean a tiny area in another room.

Bonus it takes them less than an hour to clean 3 big rooms for me where I'd spend half a day on it.

Totally worth it.
