Last day of school! And I need to start planning my summer. Each year, my district offers tons of staff development classes, most of which are unappetizing. I agree with everyone who says that if you are going to start a language it should be one you really feel passionate about because - ugg, language learning is mostly a lot of work. :) Also, unless you want to learn Korean so you can watch Kdramas in original languages, I'd say you probably don't need to take that one? I've been living in Seoul for the past 4 months, and have picked enough functional Korean to get around, but it is certainly a place you can travel without knowing too much language. And the alphabet is really easy to learn on your own too, if you wanted to do that much.
