I'm getting such a kick out of Catching Fire filming here in Atlanta. Even better: I hear rumors that they'll be shooting scenes at a university near my work, and they'll do the Caesar interviews at the big theater in my neighborhood. How cool is that? Peeta will make certain Shocking! Fake! Revelations! just down the street from me. *g*

Man, if you're interested you should totally keep an ear open - they often need bodies to fill seats if they're shooting in a large-ish space, though I suppose they might have to actually hire extras since they'd need to be costumed like Capitol residents. But how neat would that be?

CL Casting is casting extras and the code name is "The Idiom." Georgia is a right to work state which means they won't be using SAG actors so you could probably do one of those big days. Just submit a picture to the casting agency. My guess is it'd require a fitting, then a shooting day.

My sister told me the code title they're using for filming locations but now I've forgotten it. LOL

Yeah, I read somewhere that it was "GGX", but they've changed it since people figured it out. ;)

I saw some pap shots of Finnick looking awesome. I hope you manage to find him!

Indeed. Claflin looks a lot like how I imagined Finnick, which is a good thing!

Agreed! I was skeptical when I first saw the casting, but seeing some of shots around the set, he's spot on what I pictured. Now we just need to wait and see if he can handle the depth of the character. I really fell in love with Finnick in the books.

I'm rather impressed that not only do we have our own paparazzi in town, but they managed to find a spot in the GWCC where they could take those photos. *g*
