I find it strangely (and intensely) intimidating to be writing a blog such as this. I have a hard time even keeping a journal because I want to make it really poetic. But a savvy wordsmith I am not. Even my private journal that (hopefully) no one else will read is usually a chore. I feel like the twisted emotions and abstract thoughts that run

Don't worry, I don't think I've ever written anything poetic. Maybe the point of keeping a journal or a blog is just to practice getting the ideas and thoughts out there. Kind of like taking good pictures. Pretend film is cheap. (Searching for a relevant analogy to journal writing...) Umm, act like you have all the time and space in the world to write. That was lame. Maybe that's why I'm not an artist or poet.
