Brief Vid Notes
This one was a palette cleanser, very simple visually and narratively speaking. My 'release' video. There's some minor depth in there, but the depth SNUCK in against my will. Mostly it's just a look at Zach/Seth season two, in the way that Zach as utterly, hopelessly in love with Seth, and Seth was somewhat fascinated himself. Not that I'm trying to warn you off, because I'm honestly very happy with this video, despite the fact that it's fluff compared to my usual angst-fests. Now I'm ready to dive back in... head-first, of course.
I did have some problems with getting the audio to work, and both linzeems and fahrbotdrusilla helped me out by sending me versions of the song while I begged and pleaded shamelessly. fahrbotdrusilla turned me onto the song in the first place actually, with her Starbuck video to the same title, so you should go check that out.
After that, I had some compression issues, and I'm still not totally satisfied, because my usual methods seem to have gone out the window since I last rendered a complete video, but at the moment, the size/quality is as balanced as I can get it.
I tried some new things, effects-wise, but nothing too fancy. The feel of the song allowed me to speed up some clips in different ways than other songs have not allowed me to before, because with other songs it comes across as corny or out of place for the most part, with a few notable exceptions.
