Saturday morning. I checked the work and the third downspout drain T was missing. This one on the middle of the house next to the fireplace. What this means is all the water from the back side of the house will flow to the fireplace and spill over creating more of a mess than before. After getting water in the house several times we got someone out who found roof issues and repaired them. Now it takes a really hard rain to get water but the last time it was 16 towels soppy. I broke down and bought a new computer! The old one was just so slow and cranky. Then the internet died. Actually, it was the computer with a faulty part. we will be bringing home 2 -11 week old puppies next weekend. the 2 cats can just get over it. these are brother and sister and they are truely a pair. sleep, play together. couldn't separate the 2 so we are taking both. wish me luck. haven't housebroken a puppy in years! While I was in Houston, Dad got a notice that Mom was denied medicaid. At $4500 a month the nursing home would break anyone. I told him not to worry; we could fix this. On April 4th I called Phil and said go home. There is a major blotch on the radar that was really red. Well, the tornado(s) jumped our house. We were without power for 3 days. The bradford pears, wisteria, redbud are all in bloom! But we had snow in early March. Today it is in the 70s. Tomorrow in the low 60s with lows for the next 2 nights in the mid to low 30s.
