"Nonetheless Arthur walked through the parting sea of students to get to Merlin as was per usual and shouted a greeting. Merlin instantly turned around and embraced his friend as if he hadn’t seen him in months, not less than 12 hours. That was one of the many things about Merlin, he was extremely tactile. Surprisingly enough, Arthur found the touches and hugs they shared much more familiar than he thought a man such as him should, but Merlin and Arthur’s friendship had never been conventional."
