It has only been 131 weeks since I last wrote in this journal. Don't ask why I have decided to try again, I am not sure myself. Reading others LJ entries has been both scary and fun...scary in that I don't think that I can be as insightful as my friend JiM, or as intellectual as Ms Porcupine; fun in that I see others out in this cyber landscape ( Read more... )

Yes, and it is scary...but with the winter we've had here I am looking forward to not having to go to work in January and February. How are you doing kid? I still go and read at your site...got to have my fix.

Hey, welcome back. ::waves furiously:: I'm looking forward to your posts. Congrats on the retirement! Yeah, scary, but also think of being able to do what *you* want to do whenever you want to do it.

Yes, as much as the two cats let me do what I want, and not what they want. But not going into work, now that is a very good thought. Good to hear from you.

I never said you'd becoem a recluse- You have to go out to eat with me at least once a month- besides I need to see you and if you were a recluse that wouldn't happen

glad to see that you have attempted the written word again- it can be most eye opening

The written word can be down right scary. Yes I could become a recluse and still see you, just not go out anywhere. I do like our suppers out though and would not want to give them up. Perhaps hermit is the word we are all searching for...but not the kind that spend their time sitting on a pillar meditating.

Believe me, if I had the money I would have everything delivered to the door, from groceries right on down. The witch is one lazy lady.

So pleased to see you back online here- Retirement will be fun and don't worry about not having enough to do - from what I can see everyone who retires ends up wondering how they ever had time to go to work!

I have family from St Louis visiting Ireland this summer - when you are retired and cam pick and chose times easily you should come visit.

You have no idea how much your sweet invitation means. I would love to see Ireland and to meet you and yours. Travel is one of the things that I can't do anymore...and when I get around to writing that History you'll understand.

Have a cup of tea my friend and think of me...that is something we can share even though many miles stand between us. The witch does like her cuppa for morning and in the evening. I even do the dreaded English thing and put milk in my tea. Take care and be safe now... the witch in winter sends her regards over a cup of orange tea (no milk here however).
