Andrew and I just came inside from having our breakfast on our deck.  The bench was still damp with dew, but he wanted to eat next to his geranium and I wanted to check the plum tomato plants. The sun hasn't cleared the trees yet, so it is nice and cool, complete with breeze. I mentioned how much I love living on the edge of our woods and he said

We actually do have a little stone patio beside out house (that I built) with a table and one of those rocking outdoor couch things, getting either Aislyn and / or Isabelle up and out of the house for breakfast, even if it is on the patio, is sometimes like pulling teeth. Most of the time it's more trouble then it's actually worth. Before we had the kids Marcy and I used to take breakfast (and lunch and dinner or some variation thereof) on the patio.

Obviously Aislyn and Isabelle are the same way with kilts. We do have one Stewart pattern that is a 'kids size' that we wrap around them if we need to, but it's completely pointless to spend real money on a REAL pattern of anything for them since they grow so fast.
