Milestones
So, "Baby Kate"started her first day of pre-K today. Her Montessori school (where Drew used to go) follows our county schedule, but they start 2 days earlier to help ease the little ones into school. She goes 5x a week from 8:45 to 11:45. Is she ready? We think so- we enrolled her in their summer school/camp program and she did a great job. Am I ( Read more... ) -

Happy Morning
Andrew and I just came inside from having our breakfast on our deck. The bench was still damp with dew, but he wanted to eat next to his geranium and I wanted to check the plum tomato plants. I know, i know...the kid needs a larger bike, but we just accomplished riding on two wheels so cut us some slack. I'm scanning Craigslist as I type... Hopefully for Christmas. Regardless, I'm so proud of him!

We had an amusing conversation last night regarding what foods we are embarrassed to admit we love... I could be a combination of things like "peanut butter and Doritos sandwich" but I was mostly interested in individual "hidden shame". I personally love canned mushrooms. Easy Rider
Oh, I'm so proud of my son! This morning he rode his bike without training wheels! He plowed into a couple of cars (and neighbors), but none are worse for the wear. Now an hour or so later, he's riding like a pro...well, maybe like a 7 year old who can ride a two-wheeler.
