Wasting time
Killing a little time before we go and pick up Mom and Dad at Dulles. You can tell the parents are coming, I got out the mop and pail and scrubbed the kitchen floor...and rinsed...and swiffer'd afterward! What is up with that? So the floor is wet. Maybe I do the bathrooms too. Don't want the 'rents to encounter stinky bathrooms...

I haven't updated in along time and I'm sorry. This season has been mad. My dad had pneumonia for more than 3 weeks, and we went to Florida to help. He's doing much better and is out of the hospital (and in a rehab facility) but I had never seen him so sick. Dead
Gone, kaput. My taste buds are dead. I just popped a Dove dark chocolate/mint drop into my mouth and I can't taste it!! I get sinus infections every year and that has never happened... How sad ( Read more... ) -

Sinus infections suck. My daughter burst into tears while I was changing her this morning. She wasn't hurt, and has been feeling better (she had a nasty cold last week), and I had just helped her blow her nose so she wasn't congested. "You look so bad, Mommy" she cried. I’m tired…not as tired as I was an hour ago, but still pretty ache-y. We had a terrific couple of days, but I feel like I’ve been cranked to 11 for 3-4 days straight.
