Actual and literalist contact information! A stunning feat for me, it's true.

Since my words are more-or-less swingdancing across the screen, to be writing here again with all of you: And since a certain girl named Alisha should have my rushed attempt at a mini-tribute as public as possible (and alas, I lack access to billboards at the moment ( Read more... )

Hey, you! And hey, *wow*, I love that my friends have some of the only (okay, maybe not only, but sadly rare) good taste in tattoos that I encounter. And I encounter an awful lot of tattoos, what with the whole portraiture work, as I'm sure you know!

(Hm- actually, look at that fun snippet of synchronicity! You can see the most extreme example of said Fabulous Friends Tattoos phenomenon, directly below you. Le Petit Prince dancing across & down her back, latin phrases kissing her curves, Neruda poetry planned into the mix -etc.)

Do you have an image of the design &/or font posted somewhere...? And don't think for a second that you're gonna get away from my camera(s) when you have FLB's core phrase tattooed on your back!
xxo,
R.

Awww. We can always be shy-phonesters together, curled-up like coy kittens & giggling like pre-schoolers- together but slicing the miles into bits & bitsier bits & then smallest of bits ( ... )

And I just heard it!
Which (duh doink doink) made me grin like a [somewhat] sane lunatic.

I am now all the more aware.

Miranda of Pandas of glitter of glow! witchbabyblue February 16 2009, 15:34:32 UTC
Honey, Baby, Sparkleface! I am very much here to see you, as much as anything. I know it's hard for you to stay positive, with all the weights you're trying to balance right now. But c'mon now; I even brought our peacock feathers with me. ...Awww, now I'm laughing softly, smiling a gentle glow- remembering us with 20 minutes until closing in a massive arts&crafts store, every crevice full of something sparkly or shiny, luminescent or fluffy, both of us like distracted, dizzied kittens...! Ooh, & the lovely snow-girl we met, whom I can't wait to take fun, sassy pictures of; especially if they can show her even a sliver of how sexy-lovely-sweet we both told her she was ( ... )

I'm so happy you were in Portland sunshine today, but I made squeaky-aaack! noises when I realized how quickly you could have picked up your cell & come into my arms. And into this mellow, velvety pillow of a hotel, where there's kindness & sparkle at every turn of a corner.

I'm here, Miranda. I'm here. You can call either number; I can't do specific plans/details over text or email, esp. since my computer & cell are *both* quirking out a bit more w/ each day. (Gah!) But hey: I'm guessing we can escape the delicious/dangerous lure to talk into the quiet blue for hours, since the miles between us are so few- and as much as I love your voice, I'd much rather give you directions & see your face, cuddle you close, for the time that we'll find. Okay?

And again: To leave PDX (to leave PDX for now) without spending sparkle-dusted hours with Princess Oleander herself- frankly, well, that would be insane. I love you, girl. Always. You know this. We'll make plans; and I'm here for another week, if not more. But now, she who is ( ... )

thank you, heather. coming from you, from our shared history - well, you pretty much know how much that means to me. which is numerous volumes more than the bare kindness of your sentence contains.

and feather of heathers: of course you can feel free to say more (or less; either way) - of course, you know? yeah.

Oh!- & You: i think i've said this before, but Holy Wowza, that self-portrait of you is gorgeous. it sort of radiates your softest/most pure of energies. it reminds me, recalls me... to so much.

also: i know you wrote to ask after me, during the time i couldn't write back- i apologize for any extra worry that put on your own journey with healing & lyme. thank you for watching quietly over me, much as i do with people.

we dance our quiet give-&-take karma circles around each other, all these years & cities after first meeting eyes. hence, the subject line.
